The Desert Tour of Rajasthan goes up to the Thar Desert and explores some of the finest forts of Rajasthan including the Jaisalmer Fort - perhaps the only inhabited fort in the world. The tour covers the must-see sights and experiences of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer and comes with a private car at disposal.

DAY 1: JODHPUR - JAISALMER (285 KMS/ 5 HOURS)

  • Meet & Greet upon arrival at Jodhpur Railway Station / Airport.
  • Transfer to Jaisalmer visiting Jaisalmer War Museum en route tracing the evolution of the Indian army. 
  • Check into hotel upon arrival in Jaisalmer. 
  • Overnight in Jaisalmer.

DAY 2: JAISALMER SIGHTSEEING AND SAM SAND DUNES

  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Jaisalmer Fort (also known as Golden Fort). Also, visit the Haveli's & Temples built within the fort premises. 
  • Visit Gadsisar Lake and enjoy an optional boat ride. 
  • In the evening proceed for Camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes enjoying an unforgettable sunset. 
  • Return back to Jaisalmer. 

DAY 3: JODHPUR (285 KMS / 5 HOURS)

  • After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. 
  • Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into the hotel. Evening at Leisure. 
  • Overnight in Jodhpur. 

DAY 4: JODHPUR SIGHTSEEING

  • After breakfast proceed for a tour of Jodhpur including Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace Musuem, Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and Mandore Garden.
  • Rest of the day is free for shopping or personal activities .
  • Overnight in Jodhpur. 

 

DAY 5: JODHPUR DEPARTURE

  • After breakfast, the day is free for personal activities till you are dropped to railway station/ airport for onward journey.
