Rendezvous Ladakh (L1)

Leh / Sham Valley / Pangong Lake / Leh

A rugged terrain and beautiful high altitude desert formed by the buckling and folding of the earth's crust as the Indian sub-continent pushed with irresistible force against the immovable mass of Asia. Its silhouettes, elevated by the incredible tectonic movements, have been shaped over the ages by the process of erosion, sculpted into the form by wind and water. Dotted with monasteries, beatific lakes, passes and maroon robed monks, Ladakh has been a destination for young and adventures for sure.

Day 01: Leh ARRIVAL  

  • Arrival at Leh airport and transferred to the Hotel.
  • Complete day for acclimatization.
  • Later, in the evening visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Sham Valley Excursion (130 Kms | 3 hrs one way)

  • After breakfast proceed for a scenic excursion to Sham Valley stopping at many interesting points on the way including Likir and Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame Museum, Magnetic Hil and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers).
  • Travel back to Leh, Dinner & Overnight in the hotel. 

Day 3: Pangong Lake Excursion (140 kms | 5 hrs one way)

  • After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd highest motorable road in the world.
  • Enjoy beauty of the high altitude of the Lake, surrounded by grey and brown mountains, clean and dust washed. Count the waves washing the shores of the color changing Lake and be mesmerized by the different shades of blue from Azure to Navy Blue.
  • Later, drive back to Leh by the same route. 
  • Dinner and Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4: Departure

  • After breakfast, rest of the day is at leisure till transfer to Leh airport for onward journey.
