The Desert Tour of Rajasthan goes up to the Thar Desert and explores some of the finest forts of Rajasthan including the Jaisalmer Fort - perhaps the only inhabited fort in the world. The tour covers the must-see sights and experiences of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer and comes with a private vehicle at disposal for the group. 

DAY 01 : 30 DEC: ARRIVAL IN JODHPUR

  • Meet & Greet upon arrival at Jodhpur Railway Station / Airport
  • Drive to hotel and check in
  • Day at your own
  • Overnight in Jodhpur

DAY 02 : 31 DEC: JODHPUR

  • After breakfast proceed for a tour of Jodhpur including Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace Musuem, Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and Mandore Garden
  • Evening is free to celebrate the NEW YEAR EVE celebration.
  • Enjoy your dinner at the hotel.
  • Overnight in Jodhpur. 

DAY 03 : 01 JAN: JODHPUR

  • After breakfast, day at your own to relax post the New Year Eve Celebration.
  • Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 04 : 02 JAN : JODHPUR - JAISALMER (285 KMS / 5 HOURS)

  • After breakfast, check out from hotel 
  • Drive to Jaisalmer visiting Jaisalmer War Museum en route tracing the evolution of the Indian army. 
  • Check into hotel upon arrival in Jaisalmer. 
  • Overnight in Jaisalmer

DAY 05 : 03 JAN: JAISALMER

  • After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Jaisalmer Fort (also known as Golden Fort). Also, visit the Haveli's & Temples built within the fort premises. 
  • Visit Gadsisar Lake and enjoy an optional boat ride
  • Return to hotel for overnight stay

DAY 06 : 04 JAN : JAISALMER- SAMM SAND DUNE

  • After breakfast, day at your own 
  • Later in the afternoon, drive to the Samm Sand Dune 
  • Enjoy camel ride in the dune, folk music and dance(optional)
  • Return to hotel for dinner
  • Overnight stay at hotel in Jaisalmer

DAY 07 : 05 JAN : JAISALMER TO JODHPUR (285KMS/5HRS)

  • After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur to board your flight back home.
